Country music stars are among millions of people left shaken by Sunday night’s mass shooting in Las Vegas, where at least 58 people were killed and more than 500 injured at the Route 91 Harvest Festival.

Canadian country music star Tim Hicks shared this message: "Shocked, saddened, angry... really no words."
Fellow Canadian singer Brett Kissel tweeted: "Last night, in Las Vegas, music did what music does, and brought people together - only this time a horrific tragedy occurred ... I hope that along with prayer, positivity, and love, that music can once again bring peace to this world, and heal the broken hearts of so many affected in Las Vegas."
“My heart hurts,” wrote Brett Eldredge on Twitter. “What in the world?! Let's all show Vegas we have their back in this madness... praying for all the victims and for the country music community... damn this hits close to home... We WILL get through this.”
Luke Bryan shared: “Words can't begin explain my sadness. My family and I are praying for the victims of this tragedy. Truly heartbroken.”
“There are no words right now that suffice,” tweeted Brad Paisley.
Maren Morris, who performed at the Route 91 Harvest Festival on Saturday, said she is in shock and heartbroken, and called the shooting an “unfair, senseless tragedy.”
Another Route 91 performer, Luke Combs, said on Instagram: “I am incredibly saddened by tonight's events and while I'm thankful that me and all of my band and crew are alive and unharmed, I can't help but hurt for all the people who weren't as fortunate and the pain their loved ones must feel.
“Keep Vegas, these fans, and all of the country music community in your thoughts and prayers.”
Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban were among the country artists offering prayers for the victims and their families via Twitter – with Urban saying he was “stilled and speechless.”
Reba McEntire tweeted: “My heart goes out to all of our friends, @jasonaldean, our music family and fans in Las Vegas.”
