The iHeartRadio Music Awards, scheduled to take place later this month, have been postponed due to COVID-19.
“The safety of our guests, employees, artists and partners is our main priority,” read a statement from iHeartMedia in the U.S. that added the event will be rescheduled “at the appropriate time.”
The iHeartRadio Music Awards, which honours last year’s most-played artists and songs on iHeartRadio stations in the U.S. and on the app, were to take place March 29 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.
Canada’s Shawn Mendes, Justin Bieber, Drake, Loud Luxury, Snow, Frank Dukes and The Glorious Sons are among the nominees.
The Juno Awards, Kids’ Choice Awards and ACM Awards have also been postponed due to the COVID-19 crisis.
