Members of Crazy Town managed to escape serious injury or death when their tour van struck a moose on Highway 17 in Ontario.
Singer Seth Binzer, guitarist Elias Tannous and drummer Roland Banks were taken to hospital by Algoma District paramedics with cuts and bruises.
The female moose died at the scene. The white passenger van was destroyed by the impact.
It’s not known exactly where the collision occurred but the band was traveling overnight Thursday between Thunder Bay and Sudbury.
“Just got out of the emergency room,” frontman Seth Binzer captioned a series of photos on Instagram. “By the grace of god we are all ok just cuts and bruises … still planning to finish the tour.”
Crazy Town, best known for the 2000 hit “Butterfly” is scheduled to perform Friday in Guelph, Ont. and Saturday in Ottawa.
