Daddy Yankee’s “Con Calma” featuring Canada’s Snow was a big winner at Wednesday night’s 2020 Billboard Latin Music Awards.
The track, released last year, is a reimagining of Snow’s 1992 debut single “Informer," a global hit that spent seven weeks at the top of the Billboard Hot 100, won the Juno Award in 1994 for Best Reggae Recording.
“Con Calma” earned six awards, including Hot Latin Song of the Year as well as Digital, Streaming and Airplay Song of the Year.
Snow and fellow Canadian Drake lost Crossover Artist of the Year to Katy Perry, who added her voice to a remix of “Con Calma.”
The night’s big winner was Bad Bunny, who earned seven awards including Artist of the Year and Songwriter of the Year.
