Fans of Canadian country star Dallas Smith know he loves tattoos.
The 38-year-old “Wastin’ Gas” singer, whose arms are covered in colourful art, said he plans to keep adding ink to his skin.
Smith revealed to iHeartRadio.ca that his next tattoo is going to be a big one.
“I’ve got an appointment in October for a full chest piece,” he said.
Smith’s body art is the work of Donovan Murphy, formerly of Lady Luck Tattoo in Smith’s hometown of Langley, B.C. and now at Six Gill Custom Tattoo in Sechelt, B.C.
The timing of the next tattoo isn’t ideal, though.
The singer said he’s getting the chest piece done and then catching a red-eye flight to Toronto ahead of his Oct. 7 concert in Norfolk, about two-and-a-half hours southwest of the city.
“So yeah, it’s going to suck,” Smith said. “There’s no doubt about it.”
Has he had a tattoo put on a body part that’s only seen by his wife and doctor?
“No, not yet,” Smith replied.
“But I’m sure it will happen.”
