Dashboard Confessional surprised fans last week by releasing a four-song EP featuring covers of songs by acts like The 1975 and Canada’s Justin Bieber.
On Covered and Taped, the Florida band, which hasn’t released an album since 2009, covers Bieber’s “Love Yourself” as well as “Sex” by The 1975, “Sprained Ankle” by Julien Baker, and Sorority Noise’s “Using.”
Singer Chris Carrabba stretches “Love Yourself” out to give Bieber’s hit a whole different vibe.
