David Bowie has been commemorated with a collection of stamps from the U.K.’s Royal Mail.
The 10-stamp collection includes six classic album covers (Hunky Dory, Aladdin Sane, “Heroes”, Let’s Dance, Earthling, and Blackstar). Four live photographs from tour have also been chosen (The Ziggy Stardust Tour, 1973; The Stage Tour, 1978; The Serious Moonlight Tour, 1983; and A Reality Tour, 2004).
The collection is the next instalment in the Music Giants Special Stamp series. In 2016, the series honoured Pink Floyd with six stamps. The Beatles are also previous recipients of the stamp treatment in 2010. However, Royal Mail has stated this marks the first time an entire stamp collection has been dedicated to a single artist.
The late singer would have been 70 this month. The stamps will be in circulation in the U.K. from March 14, but are available to pre-order here.
