Canadian composer and producer David Foster announced Wednesday he’s going on tour this summer and, for the first time, performing 10 shows in his native country.
At An Intimate Evening with David Foster - The Hitman Tour, the multiple Grammy winner will perform hit songs he wrote or produced and share stories about the songs as well as the artists he has worked with.
Foster, 69, has had a hand in crafting hits like Céline Dion’s “Because You Love Me,” Whitney Houston’s version of “I Will Always Love You,” Chicago’s “You’re the Inspiration” and Michael Bublé’s “Home.”
Last June, Foster announced his engagement to singer-actress Katharine McPhee, 34.
Described as “a tour of his beloved homeland,” it only includes three provinces. The trek wraps up in his hometown on July 15.
