Even though she's recently been winning like never before, Nicki Minaj isn't slowing down for anybody. She's continuing to gave us life on David Guetta's new single "Light My Body Up," which also features Lil Wayne.
Being in a beef with fellow NY femcee Remy Ma, Minaj didn't miss a chance to shade her in the beginning of the track. "Yo, I just started my sentence like a capital letter/ Got bars for years, I hope you send me a letter/ Know she'll never be queen, so now she got a vendettaI ain't talkin' 'bout" Minaj raps.
"David when I say I'ma Guetta/ Twenty mil' on my off, season of course/ Twenty million when you ain't put out no album or tours/ Yes, b**ch, I'm me/ Pretty N-I-C/ You get it? Icy/ But my name is spelled N-I-C."
On the pop-focused track, Minaj sings too and sounds great while doing so. Then, Weezy comes in to drop some more bars on us. "Girl you know I brought that thing right up out the darkness/ Made that thing a starfish, right up on my swordfish," Tunechi spits on the fast-tempo song. "I'ma bring sparks and your favorite narcs/ Ooooh, you raise the bar, you take it far, you rated R."
