Dean Brody is hitting the road.
The Canadian country music star announced Wednesday he’s taking the Dirt Road Stories Tour to 34 communities from coast to coast.
The acoustic trek kicks off Oct. 20 in Truro, NS and runs until Dec. 2 in Cranbrook, BC.
“I want to give my fans a window into how my songs were written, how they sound in their rawest form, performed in an intimate theatre setting,” explained Brody, in a release.
In an interview last year, Brody told iHeartRadio.ca how he knows he’s crafted a good song.
“If it moves me in any way,” he said. “If it makes me super happy or I can’t stop playing it.
“Even more so, if I play it for people I really trust, in my inner circle, and they go ‘Wow, that sounds really good’ or they cant stop singing the hook, then I go, ‘Oh, OK, this might have some legs on it.”
