Demi Lovato Responds To Halsey Calling Her Out

Halsey's recent comments about female pop stars who sing about sexual experimentation apparently didn’t go unnoticed by Demi Lovato.

In a conversation with Kristen Stegemoeller for Paper, Halsey shared her frustration with straight female singers who exploit same-sex hookups.

“Oh, yeah. Bisexuality as a taboo. ‘Don't tell your mom’ or ‘We shouldn't do this’ or ‘This feels so wrong but it's so right,’” said Halsey.

“That narrative is so f***ing damaging to bisexuality and its place in society.”

Halsey didn’t mention any name but quoted lyrics from songs by Lovato (“Cool for the Summer”) and Katy Perry (“I Kissed a Girl”).

Not coincidentally, Lovato tweeted: “You know a song is a hit when people are still talking about the lyrics two years later. #shhhhdonttellyourmother"
