Demi Lovato made a surprise appearance Sunday at a community centre for people with special needs in Jerusalem.

The pop star toured the Shalva Center, where she took time to make a bead necklace with some children. Lovato also spent time with the Shalva Band – a group of musicians with disabilities that was featured at this year’s Eurovision competition.

Last Thursday, Lovato was spotted at the Western Wall.

The singer, who has so far not shared memories of her Israel visit on Instagram, tweeted in 2012 that she discovered she was “part Jewish.” Appearing on a radio show, she explained: “I did some research a couple of years ago … I’m Native American, predominantly Hispanic on that side … I’m Irish on my mom’s side, but back on my dad, a little Portuguese, and a little Jewish.”
