Italian designer Stefano Gabbana took cheap shots at Selena Gomez this week on social media, calling her “ugly” and agreeing with someone who said she looks like a Pomeranian dog.
Gabbana, 55, couldn’t help himself when The Catwalk Italia posted images of Gomez in five different red dresses and asked fans to pick their favourite.
"È proprio brutta!!!,” he commented, which roughly translates to “She’s really ugly!!!”
When another user suggested Gomez “looks like a Pomeranian dog,” Gabbana replied: “hahahahahaha is true hahahaha.”
Fans of the 25-year-old pop star took to social media to share their disgust at the insults. Among them was singer Julia Michaels. “Just here to tell you that you are one of the most beautiful women I know, inside and out. I love you always.”
