Sean "Diddy" Combs has spoken out denying all allegations after his homes in Miami and Los Angeles were raided by the feds on Monday (March 25).
Through his attorney Aaron Dyer, the music mogul issued a statement calling the investigation by Department of Homeland Security and multiple allegations of sexual assault as an "unprecedented ambush" and a "witch hunt based on meritless accusations."
The statement reads, “Yesterday, there was a gross overuse of military-level force as search warrants were executed at Mr. Combs’ residences. There is no excuse for the excessive show of force and hostility exhibited by authorities or the way his children and employees were treated. Mr. Combs was never detained but spoke to and cooperated with authorities. Despite media speculation, neither Mr. Combs nor any of his family members have been arrested nor has their ability to travel been restricted in any way.
"This unprecedented ambush — paired with an advanced, coordinated media presence — leads to a premature rush to judgment of Mr. Combs and is nothing more than a witch hunt based on meritless accusations made in civil lawsuits," it continues. "There has been no finding of criminal or civil liability with any of these allegations. Mr. Combs is innocent and will continue to fight every single day to clear his name.”
The raids on Monday were part of what the Homeland Security Investigations has called “executed law enforcement actions as part of an ongoing investigation." Combs is part of an ongoing sex trafficking investigation following a number of lawsuits filed against him from sexual assault allegations.
Watching all of this from the sidelines is fellow rapper and Diddy adversary 50 Cent, who has been actively eating popcorn while watching Combs fall deeper into trouble.
A regular pundit on the ongoing investigation, 50 Cent has announced that he is planning to release a documentary series titled Diddy Do It? documenting the sexual allegations against Combs (see the poster below). Back in December, Fiddy tweeted out a clip with the caption, "G-Unit Film & Television proceeds from this Documentary will go to victims of Sexual Assault and Rape !"
