Dierks Bentley has a countrified new name for the Backstreet Boys before their epic ACM Awards performance.
The legendary boy band is set to take the stage with Florida Georgia Line Sunday night at “Country Music’s Party of the Year,” and co-host Dierks revealed on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert his new moniker for BSB. “They’re actually not the Backstreet Boys anymore. They’re going country! They’re called the Backroad Boys,” Dierks quips. “We’re bringing them into the country fold.”
Backstreet or Backroad, the ensemble will perform “God, Your Mama and Me,” their new single from FGL’s latest album Dig Your Roots.
They join an all-star lineup of previously announced collaborations, including Thomas Rhett and Maren Morris, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, and many more.
The 52nd ACM Awards air tonight (April 2) on CBS.
