Dr. Dre’s wife Nicole Young filed for divorce Monday in Los Angeles after 24 years of marriage.
Citing irreconcilable differences, Young, 50, is seeking spousal support from the 55-year-old rapper and music producer, who Forbes reported last year is worth an estimated $800 million U.S.
Young, who was born Nicole Plotzker, was previously married to NBA player Sedale Threatt.
She and Dre, whose real name is Andre Young, have two adult children together – son Truice, 23, and daughter Truly, 19. Dre has three other adult children from previous relationships (another, son Andre Jr., died of a drug overdose in 2008).
