Drake announced Thursday he will return to Toronto’s Budweiser Stage on Aug. 5 as part of OVO Fest.
No doubt the hometown rap star will be joined by surprise guests.
A day earlier, a line-up of acts – B2K, Mario, Lloyd, Pretty Ricky, Ying Yang Twins, Chingy and Bobby V – will be on stage. Tickets go on sale Friday, Drake said on Instagram.
During last month’s Raptors championship celebration, Drake promised that OVO Fest was coming back but didn’t immediately share any details.
OVO Fest was an annual event in Toronto from 2010 until 2017. Artists like Jay-Z, Eminem, Kanye West and Lil Wayne have performed.
