Drake cannot wait to return to his acting roots, or so the hip-hop titan said during an interview on the Cal Cast podcast, of all places, which was hosted by University of Kentucky men's basketball head coach John Calipari.
“Acting is another thing that I just can't wait to really dive into,” the rapper revealed. “I think after I release More Life, which is this playlist I'm working on, and finish this tour, I think I'm going to really start to position myself in the acting world and, hopefully, take some great roles.”

As you all know, Drizzy's first major TV stint was for the role as Jimmy Brooks on Degrassi: The Next Generation. He has also appeared on Saturday Night Live several times, so we know he also has some comedy chops.
In the meantime, we'll have to wait patiently for the release of More Life. “[It's] to keep people excited, give them new music, let them know I’m still hungry," he said. "I'm doing it to be remembered as a forward thinker.”
Tune into the 6:10 mark for the Drake interview.
