Drake, Daniel Caesar Earn Noms For 2019 Soul Train Awards

Canada’s Drake and Daniel Caesar are among the nominees for the 2019 Soul Train Awards.

Drake has seven nominations, including two for Song of the Year thanks to his collaborations with Chris Brown (“No Guidance”) and his Summer Walker (“Girls Need Love”). Drake has won three Soul Train Awards from 33 previous nominations.

Caesar is vying for Best R&B/Soul Male Artist against Brown, Anderson .Paak, Bruno Mars, Khalid and Tank as well as the Soul Train Certified Award. The 24-year-old Ontario singer has won a pair of Soul Train Awards from five previous nominations.

The 2019 Soul Train Awards, hosted by Tisha Campbell and Tichina Arnold, will take place in Las Vegas on Nov. 17.
