Drake has released Dark Lane Demo Tapes, a collection of 14 tracks featuring guests like Young Thug, Future and Playboi Carti.
The mixtape includes the previously released “Toosie Slide,” “Desires” “When to Say When,” “Chicago Freestyle,” and “War" as well as leaked tracks like “Pain 1993” and “Demons.”
Sharing the news about Dark Lane Demo Tapes, Drake also announced that his sixth studio album will be released this summer. It follows 2018’s Scorpion.
During an Instagram Live with Diddy earlier this month, Drake spoke about working on his new album while in COVID-19 lockdown at his Toronto mansion. “The amount of focus I’m able to put into this album is probably way different than it would’ve been,” he pointed out. “Definitely, this is the most excited I’ve been about an album in a long time.
“A lot of little stuff has been trickling out but all the stuff on the album is fresh. It’s brand new. I’m excited. This is probably the most music I’ve ever been sitting on.”
