Canadians had four of the most popular songs in the U.S. this year, according to a survey.
Drake, The Weeknd and Alessia Cara hold four spots on Variety’s list of the 30 Most-Consumer Songs Of 2017.
The ranking was compiled by BuzzAngle Music and is based on audio streams, video streams, song sales, radio spins and Shazam tags up until Nov. 2.
Cara’s collaboration with Zedd, “Stay” is at No. 20; Drake’s “Fake Love” is No. 24 and “Passionfruit” is No. 28; and The Weeknd’s “I Feel It Coming” is No. 30.
Notably, Cara is one of only four female artists who appear on the list. Julia Michaels, whose hit “Issues” is No. 17, is the only solo female. Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift made the cut thanks to their collaborations with Kygo and Zayn Malik respectively.
Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of You” is No. 1, followed by “Despacito” by Luis Fonsi ft. Daddy Yankee, Kendrick Lamar’s “HUMBLE,” Bruno Mars’ “That’s What I Like” and Post Malone’s “Congratulations.”
