Drake scored eight nominations Tuesday for the 2017 Grammy Awards.

The Canadian rapper is tied with Rihanna and Kanye West, who are all behind Beyoncé and her nine nods.

Drake’s album Views and fellow Canadian Justin Bieber’s Purpose are both up for Album of the Year against Adele’s 25, Beyoncé’s Lemonade and Sturgill Simpson’s A Sailor’s Guide To Earth.

Drake also has nominations for Best Rap Album (Views), Rap Performance (“Pop Style”), and Rap Song and Rap/Sung Performance (“Hotline Bling”)

Before this year's announcement, Drake had racked up 27 Grammy nominations since 2010 -- but only one once (for Best Rap Album in 2013). Last month, Drake picked up four American Music Awards.

Bieber has only had three previous Grammy noms. He won last year for Best Dance Recording (for "Where Are You Now").

Purpose is up for Best Pop Vocal Album and Bieber’s hit single “Love Yourself” is nominated for Song of the Year.

Noticeably absent from the Best New Artist category are Canada’s Alessia Cara and Shawn Mendes. Instead, Kelsea Ballerini, The Chainsmokers, Chance the Rapper, Maren Morris and Anderson .Paak are being recognized.

In October, Cara said it "would mean everything" to get a Grammy nomination.

The Grammys will air live from Los Angeles' Staples Center on Feb. 12.
