Drake continues to make history.
With “Toosie Slide,” the Canadian rap superstar has become the first male artist to have three songs debut at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. The single, released at the beginning of April, is Drake’s seventh to top the chart.
The Hot 100 dated April 18 is compiled using U.S. data from Nielsen Music/MRC for the week that ended April 9.
Drake’s 2018 tracks “God’s Plan” and “Nice for What” also debuted at No. 1. Mariah Carey is the only other artist to have three songs top the chart. Drake’s fellow Canadian Justin Bieber has had two, as well as Britney Spears and Ariana Grande.
