Canada’s Drake is officially the world’s most successful rapper – at least according to the numbers.
This week, the 31-year-old artist formerly known as Jimmy Brooks passed JAY-Z as the rapper with the most Top 10 tracks on the Billboard Hot 100.
Drake’s new releases “God’s Plan” and “Diplomatic Immunity” debuted on the chart last week, giving him his 21st and 22nd Top 10 entry – beating JAY-Z’s tally of 21.
The Toronto superstar also tops Lil Wayne (with 20 Top 10 hits), Ludacris (18) and Eminem (17). Diddy, Nicki Minaj, T-Pain and Kanye West each have 15 tracks that have reached the Top 10 on the Hot 100.
Drake’s accomplishment ties him with Taylor Swift in 13th place among all genres.
