Just hours before Drake was set to hit the stage last night (August 28) in Vancouver, the Rogers Arena announced that the show would be pushed to Wednesday (August 30).
The rapper's first of two Vancouver shows on his It's All A Blur tour was abruptly postponed when the venue posted a message on its socials, saying, "Due to unforeseen circumstances with the newly-installed videoboard at Rogers Arena, tonight's Drake performance will now take place on Wednesday, August 30."
"Drake was ready and excited to perform," the post continued. "He is looking forward to seeing everyone on Tuesday and Wednesday. Rogers Arena apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause."
Drake himself commented on the postponement via Instagram Stories, assuring fans that it was nothing to worry about. "Vancouver it's T TIME tmrw don't you worry..." he wrote.
Both tonight (August 29) and tomorrow's shows are expected to go as planned. And buzz around Vancity is that Travis Scott is set to make a guest appearance, after it was reported that his plane landed at the airport last night.
