It’s been nearly a decade since Drake played Jimmy Brooks on Degrassi: The Next Generation — but he’s still making money from the show.
Early Tuesday, the Toronto-born rap star shared a photo on Instagram of a royalty check he received for his work on the Canadian drama series.
“Degrassi money still coming in don't sleeeeeeeep…” he captioned the image.
The cheque from Toronto agency Noble Caplan Abrams Talent Management is made out for a whopping $8.25.
As a Degrassi cast member, Drake continues to get a cut of revenues from reruns of his episodes.
Drake is evidently not in a rush to deposit the cheque, which is dated March 31.
Last month, Forbes ranked Drake No. 4 on its list of the world’s highest-paid celebrities. It estimated he has raked in $94 million USD since June 2016.
