Dua Lipa teamed up with reggaeton stars J Balvin, Bad Bunny and Tainy for “Un Día (One Day), a bilingual song about nostalgia that was released late Thursday.
“One day you’ll love me again / Hug me again till the end / One day you’ll beg me to try,” Lipa sings during her part.
None of the artists appear in the Stillz-directed video, which features Spanish actress Úrsula Corberó, whose scenes were shot without a crew during the COVID-19 lockdown.
The track has been more than a year in the making. Tainy, a Puerto Rican producer and songwriter born Marco Masís, recorded a demo and enlisted Balvin, who recruited Lipa. Bunny (aka Benito Ocasio) was last to add his voice.
During his part, Bunny borrows a line from “Sol, Playa y Arena,” a 2007 track by Tito El Bambino ft. Jadiel.
