Dustin Lynch recently marked the release of his new album with a lyric video for the single "Momma's House."
The track, written by Dylan Schneider, Michael Lotten, Rodney Clawson and Justin Wilson, finds Lynch singing of the aftermath of a difficult breakup in a small town.
"I'd burn this whole town down if it wasn't for my Momma's house," he sings in the chorus.
"Momma's House" is the third single from Lynch's fourth studio album Tullahoma, which takes its name from the singer's Tennessee hometown about 80 miles southeast of Nashville.
"Every song on Tullahoma, there’s a reason it’s there," Lynch said. "A lot of that points back to the people who raised me, and growing up with a lifestyle where I could go outside and have fun, explore and try new things in the great outdoors.
“It’s kind of about being that kid and learning all those things. That’s my story, but I think we all can relate to the kid who’s discovering, the kid who’s figuring out love for the first time, all that good stuff."
Tullahoma follows Lynch's 2017 album Current Mood.
Lynch will embark on his 2020 Stay Country Tour on Jan. 30 in Detroit. This summer, he will hit the road with Old Dominion for select dates of their We Are Old Dominion Tour.
