Eagles aren't ready to say goodbye just yet. The rock legends have announced they're extending their Long Goodbye Tour, adding six additional dates to their farewell trek.
The current line-up of Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Vince Gill, Timothy B. Schmit and Deacon Frey (son of original member, the late Glenn Frey) will now make stops in Phoenix, Austin, Houston, Hollywood (FL), Chicago and Toronto, for their lone Canadian date on March 13 at the Scotiabank Arena. Jazz-rock legends Steely Dan will support all dates.
After more than 50 years of touring, Eagles are insisting these will be their final shows. In a statement to fans, the band said, "We hope to see as many of you as we can, before we finish up. Most importantly, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for embracing this band and its music. At the end of the day, you are the reason we have been able to carry on for over five decades. This is our swan song, but the music goes on and on.”
The presale for the newly added dates begins Wednesday, November 1 at 10:00AM Local Time and will run through Thursday, November 2 at close of business. General ticket on-sale starts Friday, November 3 at 10:00AM Local Time. More information can be found here.
