Former Guns N’ Roses drummer Steven Adler was rushed to hospital Thursday after reportedly stabbing himself.
According to TMZ, someone at the musician’s Los Angeles home called 911 and first responders arrived to find Adler with a stab wound to his stomach.
The 54-year-old’s injury was reportedly self-inflicted and not life-threatening.
It’s not known if drugs or alcohol was involved but Adler – who was fired from Guns N’ Roses in 1990 over his heroin addiction – has had a long battle with addiction.
In the years since GnR’s 2012 induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Adler has made a few guest appearances with the band. More recently, he has been touring with his group, Adler’s Appetite.
