Drake has disappointed some fans by making changes to his concert schedule next month in Amsterdam.
The Canadian rapper’s Assassination Vacation Tour, with fellow Toronto native Tory Lanez, was set to play at the Ziggo Dome on April 23, 25 and 26. But, according to the venue website, the April 23 show has been scrapped and the April 25 and 26 shows have been bumped up to April 15 and 16.
No explanation for the changes was provided.
For fans who booked flights or hotels, moving the concerts up 10 days is costly. On social media, they are venting their frustration.
“So drake rescheduled his concert in Amsterdam after Iv booked non refundable flights and hotel :))))))) love my life love it,” one tweeted. Another wrote: “So we book our hotel and flight to Amsterdam only for @Drake and @torylanez to move the show forward with a couple weeks notice. Seriously?!”
One fan asked: “@Drake Any chance your team will also refund our flights and accommodation after you rearranged the dates of the show in Amsterdam?”
“Not even a tweet or anything saying sorry for rescheduling your Amsterdam tour dates? That’s really c**ty behaviour big man @Drake," tweeted someone else.
It isn’t the first time Drake has left fans in Amsterdam disappointed.
In 2017, “unforeseen production setbacks” forced the rap star to postpone shows on his Boy Meets World Tour. With hours to go before the first of two rescheduled Amsterdam concerts, Drake cancelled citing illness.
