Matthew Good has pulled out of a show scheduled for Thursday night in Prince George, B.C. due to pnemonia.
According to a statement from promoters, the singer “continues to recover” at Edmonton’s Royal Alexander Hospital and “he is very disappointed.”
Good, who has been on a cross-Canada tour with Our Lady Peace, collapsed on stage during a show in Edmonton this week. The Prince George show was postponed one day in hopes the 46-year-old singer would recover.
Our Lady Peace will proceed with the concert but refunds are being offered.
“I spent time with Matt last night in the hospital,” said OLP frontman Raine Maida, in a statement. “He made it clear he wanted the tour to go on, and he will make it back out playing as soon as the doctors clear him.”
Good hopes to return to the stage for shows in Kelowna on March 30 and Abbotsford on March 31.
