Five Finger Death Punch plan to continue their European tour after they cut their chaotic Tilburg, Netherlands show short, which ended with frontman Ivan Moody announcing that it would be his last performance with the band. The group has now released an official statement, brushing the gig off as a "derailment." Absent from the press release was any comment or acknowledgement of Moody saying he was leaving the band.
FFDP said in the statement posted to Facebook: "Those who have followed 5FDP from the beginning can tell you there has always been an element of danger and unpredictability in our music and in our shows. That's rock 'n' roll. When you do over 150 shows in a year, you will inevitably have a few derailments, but the train always keeps on moving. Last night in Tilburg was one of those instances, but as they say, you aren't a race car driver if you don't wreck a car or two.

"We can't wait to put on amazing shows tomorrow night at Nova Rock all the way to our just-announced winter tour all over Europe. See you all on the race track....bring a helmet…"
The band's management 10th Street Entertainment released an official statement, saying, "When rock bands are volatile, that creates a differentiation that makes them special. Five Finger Death Punch always delivers."
Footage from the Tilburg concert shows the band starting the concert without Moody on vocals, using friend of the band and ex-Divine Heresy singer Tommy Vext for the first couple of songs. Reports from the concert say the band seemed to "argue amongst themselves and more."
Guitarist Zoltan Bathory tweeted about the event, saying it was "not a publicity stunt."
Moody's relationship with FFDP has been on shaky grounds this past year. He was replaced by All That Remains singer Phil Labonte for numerous shows after Moody's behavior became erratic on stage. In April, reports came out that he said was leaving the band to pursue a new project during a radio interview but later released a lengthy statement saying he was misunderstood.
