Flavor Flav is best known as the hypeman for legendary hip-hop group Public Enemy, but to any fan of seafood chain Red Lobster, he is a superman.
In his bid to help save Red Lobster from bankruptcy, the 65-year-old rapper paid a visit to his local restaurant and ordered everything on the menu.
Flav posted about his grand gesture on socials, writing, "Ya boy meant it when I said I was gonna do anything and everything to help @redlobster and save the cheddar bay biscuits,,, ordered the whole menu,!!! 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾"
He also posted a photo of himself with the impressive spread, which you better believe featured some of those Cheddar Bay Biscuits he is single-handedly attempting to rescue. See it below.
Getting in on the fun @redlobster acknowledged the feast, writing "It’s flavor time, boyeeeeeeee! 🦞⏰" in the comments on Instagram.
On May 19, the famous seafood eatery filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, adding that its "600 restaurants would continue to operate through the bankruptcy proceedings, which are intended to simplify operations, close locations and pursue a sale."
Last fall Red Lobster reportedly lost millions of dollars after offering its “Ultimate Endless Shrimp” promotion, which allowed customers to gorge on all-you-can-eat shrimp for $20.
