Country duo Florida Georgia Line have added a few new acts to their “Smooth” tour. Upstart country singers Ryan Hurd, Russell Dickerson and Morgan Wallen will join the group on several dates for their tour. They will perform along with Chris Lane as the opening act.
Nelly and the Backstreet Boys are also set to perform on a handful of dates on the tour. Hurd is currently dating fellow country star Maren Morris. He will be joining Morris for a few dates on her extended tour.
Both Hurd and Dickerson are leap-frogging from another famous tour – the two were recently supporting acts for Thomas Rhett and Kelsea Ballerini for Rhett’s 2017 “Home Team” tour.
Florida Georgia Line are in contention for three 2017 Billboard Music Awards. They’re up for Top Duo/Group, Top Country Artist and Top Country Album for Dig Your Roots.
Their “Smooth” tour will kick off in Austin, Texas, on June 2.
