Foo Fighters have postponed concerts in Edmonton and Calgary this week because frontman Dave Grohl is on vocal rest.

"That's the last time I ever make out with Bono," Grohl joked on Twitter, referring to U2 having to cut short a Berlin show when Bono lost his voice.

"After opening this leg of the tour September 1 at Safeco Field in Seattle, Dave Grohl suffered a loss of voice and is now on vocal rest,” read a statement.

Tuesday's Foo Fighters show in Edmonton has been moved to Oct. 22 and the Sept. 6 date in Calgary has been bumped to Oct. 23. The Concrete & Gold tour is scheduled to resume Sept. 8 in Vancouver.
