Taylor Swift easily earned the title of highest paid musician of 2016, raking in $170 million (all figures U.S.) according the annual list from Forbes.
That makes her not only the highest paid musician, but the highest paid celebrity of the year. She was $60 million ahead of One Direction who came in second with $110 million. Adele came in third, earning a cool $80.5 million.
Swift was able to top everybody thanks to a record-setting North American tour, which helped fuel sales of her album 1989, and multiple seven-figure endorsement deals.
