One of the founding members of rock band 3 Doors Down was sentenced Thursday to 10 years in prison for possession of a firearm by a felon.
Todd Harrell, who played bass with the group until 2012, was arrested in June at his Mississippi home after police responding to a domestic violence call found guns and drugs.
Jackson County Circuit Court Judge Robert Krebs gave Harrell the maximum sentence.
The musician had previously served two years in prison for causing a fatal car crash in Nashville in 2013.
