Friends and family members of Chester Bennington gathered Saturday to remember the Linkin Park singer who died earlier this month at 41.
The private funeral at South Coast Botanic Garden in Rancho Paolo Verdes, California included eulogies and music. The stage was decorated with roses and white lilies.
Hip-hop artist Blackbear, who was among the mourners, called it a “beautiful ceremony.” In a tweet he said “a lil piece of u has & will be in every song i sing on stage forever.”
Former Of Mice and Men singer Austin Carlile shared on Instagram: “The service today was beautiful.”
Bennington was found dead in his home on July 20. A coroner confirmed he had killed himself by hanging.
He left behind his wife Talinda Bennington and their three children as well as three children from previous relationships.

Bennington’s ex-wife Samantha, mother of their son Draven, shared her thoughts in a Facebook post on Sunday.
“I pray from my soul that he is at peace and no longer suffering,” she wrote.
“He fulfilled his destiny while helping others every step of the way through his music, a hand shake, a conversation, or even a hug. No matter if you saw him on stage, had an opportunity to meet him anywhere he truly touched everyone in a positive way.”
Linkin Park bassist Dave Phoenix Farrell said on Twitter on Saturday: “It goes without saying, this last week has been extremely difficult. The outpouring of love and kindness I’ve received from friends and from all over the world has been incredible.”
