Garth Brooks gathered George Strait, Jason Aldean, Florida Georgia Lineand Keith Urban for a special 25th anniversary remake of his classic "Friends in Low Places" and it's finally going to see the light of day.

The song was to be released last year on a remixed and remastered version of his album No Fences, but differences between publishing companies put the project on ice.

But Brooks knew that the special collaboration needed to be heard, so it found a home on Garth Brooks: The Ultimate Collection, available exclusively at U.S. Target stores on Nov. 11. (No word yet about Canadian availability.)

Brooks says he loved having his idol Strait sing on the record.

"I love the new guys -- Jason, Florida Georgia Line, Keith -- those guys," he said. "With that said, to hear 'The King,' to hear George Strait singing 'Friends in Low Places,' fantastic."

Brook's other album, Gunslinger, comes out on Nov. 25.
