You get a car! You get a car!
Garth Brooks had an Oprah moment following his concert Friday night in Edmonton when he gifted a Lexus SUV and Nissan truck to the couple holding the 5 millionth ticket sold for his current tour.
According to TMZ, the lucky fans also got a trip for two to Las Vegas, a $5,000 Amazon shopping credit, a $5,000 shopping spree at West Edmonton Mall, and tour merch!
For hitting the milestone, Brooks was presented with framed pictures with “5,000,000” and watched a special video greeting from Edmonton legend Wayne Gretzky.
The country superstar called the achievement “awesome.”
In a video message to fans, Brooks said: “Thank you for the celebration and thank you for getting us here. I never thought we’d be here again. And then the coolest thing is, every day after this we’re rewriting history. I love this. Thank you for my life. God bless you guys.”
Brooks hit the 5 million mark in the 60th city on the tour — beating his 1996-98 tour record of 100 cities.
