Garth Brooks is the year’s highest-earning country music star — thanks, in part, to his fans in Alberta.
The singer, who performed six concerts in Edmonton this past winter, raked in an estimated $60 million (all figures U.S.) from performing and record sales, according to Forbes.
The list was compiled using data from Pollstar and Nielsen for the 12-month period ending June 1.
This is the third consecutive time Brooks has topped the Forbes list.
In second place, with an estimated $42.5 million in earnings, is Kenny Chesney. Luke Bryan has the No. 3 spot.
With about $37 million in revenues from music and other ventures last year, Dolly Parton joins the list at No. 4.
Florida Georgia Line and Toby Keith are tied in fifth place.
The rest of the Top 10 consists of Jason Aldean, Blake Shelton, Keith Urban, Eric Church and Zac Brown.
