Garth Brooks is gearing up for Sunday, when he’ll close this year’s three-day Stagecoach festival in southern California.
To get a sense of what to expect, Brooks reached out to a friend for some perspective.
“Keith Urban’s on there…so I had to text Keith, ‘Hey, man – what’re these things like?’ And he said, ‘It’ll be the most fun you’ve ever had.’”
That assurance alone told Brooks all he needs to know. “It’s going to be the most fun you’ve ever had?!! I’m so looking forward to it!”
It’s just Brooks' third concert of the year, following a pair of shows to open and close this year’s Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo several weeks ago.
The country star said he might not even plan a setlist, “This is going to be fun,” he said. “To get out there…be with the guys…just free-swingin’… Just shoot from the hip, have fun.”
It's sure to be one of the highlight performances of the weekend.
