George Michael died of natural causes, a coroner has determined.
The singer died on Christmas Day at his home in Oxfordshire, England. He was 53.
“Inquiries into the death of George Michael have been concluded and the final post-mortem report received,” Oxfordshire’s senior coroner Darren Salter said in a statement.
“As there is a confirmed natural cause of death, being dilated cardiomyopathy with myocarditis and fatty liver, the investigation is being discontinued and there is no need for an inquest or any further enquiries.”

Dilated cardiomyopathy is a form of heart disease and myocarditis is an inflammation of the heart.
Salter said Michael’s family has requested privacy.
A funeral for Michael had been delayed after an initial post-mortem exam proved “inconclusive.”
