Good Charlotte announced Tuesday it is scrapping the remaining dates on its summer tour due to a “very personal and unexpected loss in our family.”
No specific details were provided.
“This year has been one of the most challenging years for our band,” read a tweet. “We have to take the time to focus on our families and our well being.”
Good Charlotte was scheduled to be part of the Warped Tour show in California on July 20 and had seven festival appearances set for Europe during August.
“Thank you for the love and support you’ve given us, we hope you know the genuine appreciation we have for you all,” the band’s tweet reads. "We hope to see you all very soon.”
