Though we’ve only heard one of virtual band Gorillaz’s songs from their as-yet untitled, “Hallelujah Money”, two new songs from the forthcoming album will debut today on MistaJam’s BBC Radio 1 show at 7 pm GMT (3 pm EDT), according to a statement from the BBC.
Today (Mar. 23) marks Damon Albarn’s 48th birthday, and what better way to celebrate?
A recently leaked tracklist for Gorillaz’s fifth album has pointed to possible collaborations with Vince Staples, Grace Jones, Danny Brown, Carly Simon, Pusha T, Mavis Staples and more. It will be the first new full-length release since 2011’s The Fall.
The band has also announced their own festival, Demon Days, which will take place at Dreamland amusement park in the U.K. in June.
