Hip-hop's 50th anniversary is set to go out with a bang as the Recording Academy will broadcast a special called A Grammy Salute to 50 Years of Hip Hop.

Continuing the celebration that began back in February with the Grammy Awards' "50 Years of 50-Hop" tribute, the Recording Academy has announced a new two-hour concert special that will take place on November 8 at the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles, taped to air on CBS and Paramount+ the following month on December 10.

Artists scheduled to perform at the event include LL Cool J, Queen Latifah and The Roots' Black Thought - who appeared at the Grammys - with Bun B, Common, De La Soul, Jermaine Dupri, J.J. Fad, Talib Kweli, The Lady of Rage, MC Sha-Rock, Monie Love, The Pharcyde, Questlove, Rakim, Remy Ma, Uncle Luke and Yo-Yo all making an appearance. More performers will be announced soon.

LL Cool J and Questlove will also serve as executive producers for the special.
