Green Day wants to celebrate the release of their new album Father of All Motherf**kers by performing at a fan’s house.

“Does anybody have, like, a relatively big backyard that we can do, like, a backyard party somewhere?,” frontman Billie Joe Armstrong asked, in a video message shared on Instagram.

“We can come play at your house or your garage, your backyard, or , I don’t know, do you have, like, a barn or is there a church or a church parking lot?”

Armstrong promised "hijinks, fun, mischief” at a “backyard party with your favourite band.”

There is a caveat. “Oh yeah,” he added. “It’d have to be in California.”

Green Day’s 13th studio album is due to drop on Feb. 7. The next single, “Oh Yeah!” will be out Jan. 16.

The band will head out on tour this summer in support of their first album since 2016. The Hella Mega Tour with Weezer and Fall Out Boy will hit Toronto’s Rogers Centre on Aug. 24.
