Greg Page, a founding member of The Wiggles, was rushed to hospital Friday after he collapsed during a benefit concert for Australian bush fire relief in Sydney.

According to a tweet on the official Wiggles account, the singer “suffered a cardiac arrest” and “had a procedure and is now recovering in hospital.” Local media reports said medics performed CPR on scene.

New South Wales Ambulance confirmed a man in his 40s was transported to Westmead Hospital in serious but stable condition.

Page, who celebrated his 48th birthday on Thursday, had just finished a 90-minute performance when he collapsed.

The singer, who wore the yellow shirt in the popular children’s group, retired from The Wiggles in 2006 citing health issues. Page returned for a brief stint in 2012.

He has four children from two marriages.

Friday’s sold-out reunion concert, for adults only, benefited two relief organizations.
