To the surprise of no one, Guns N’ Roses on Wednesday joined the long list of acts postponing a summer tour due to COVID-19.
"The North American tour is being rescheduled out of an abundance of caution,” read a message to fans on the band’s Twitter. “We will share the updated schedule as soon as the dates are finalized & all tickets will be honoured accordingly.”
Ticket holders also have refund options.
“Thank you for your understanding during this time as we look forward to coming back together very soon.”
Guns N’ Roses was scheduled to do its 19-city stadium tour from July 4 to Aug. 26, with one Canadian stop – a July 13 show at Rogers Centre in Toronto.
The band has not performed in Canada since October 2017.
